Scandinavia refers to three Northern European countries - Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The harsh climate of northern Europe particularly during the winter had long influenced the Scandinavians to place utility and simplicity over decoration. This design style balances a mix of Javanese and Scandinavian cultures, embracing honest authenticity, craftmanship and pure living. it celebrates form with function and centers on simplicity and natural beauty. interiors are meticulously tidied and every object has its own purpose and there's no space for impractical decoration. The Scandenese style is pared back, sparse and airy allowing for a serene flow throughout, walls are mostly white to emphasize light, neutral--base pallet with color used as an accent, low lying furniture's and just a handful of essential furnishing, adding a sense of warmth and calm.

“Scandinavian design excites the eyes and warms the heart while maintaining an uncluttered simplicity that feels welcoming and safe.” - Emily Yeates
